It was a good weekend

Went to the MWSO this weekend and there was a beef run headin our way. So I placed my order and this is what made it back to Nebraska.

Some briskets, Thanks Sonny.

A few Tri-Tips, Thanks Larry.

There was a grab bag type thing set up on a table at the party and after it was over I grabbed some for myself.

Even stopped by the field of dreams and picked a shirt for mama.

I had a GREAT time and now that I'm back at home its time to do some smokin/cookin type stuff.

You're right Curt, it was a good weekend! I too "shopped" at the "take and trade table" and picked up a bunch of goodies and Sonny brought me some Veron's Pork and Crawfish Sausage and DJ's Boudain. I also left with the last cup of Mrs. Seemore's Blazing Pistachios and a load of smoked sticks and sausages from NePaS.

Glad to see you snatched up a couple of the bottles of Starne's Sauce I brought up.

I've got a very similar scene on my workbench, and in my buddy Dan's ginourmous freezer!

And I got a HUGE bag of some Nebraskan sweet corn... Thanks Sonny/Nepas/KyNola/Curt/Bradley/everyone!

My wife and I absolutely love that "Benoit's" seasoning. It's replaced every "cajun" seasoning we have in the house. Had her bring home 3 cans of it last time she went home.

I spent about 45 min rearainging the freezer just to fit all that beef.

Enjoy the corn,,,,,,,,,,,,,put some butter and GP on it,,,,,,,,,,,now thats gooood.

Oh Ya, tried some of that Walkerswood Seriously Hot Jamaican sauce on a bag of chips this mornin, kinda sweet and its got a kick,,,,,,,,,,made my nose run. :o

Here's what I came away with, the steak seasoning was transferred from a ziplock baggie that was marked "steak season", the label that's on the bottle is just so I know what it is.
Tried a few drops of the Starnes on a spoon...whooooooweee that's some mighty fine sauce!!!!!
