pork bellies

Finnaly found a place to buy meat. Pork bellies by case or by pound. 2.40 lb yesterday. Pork fat 25 cents a lb. They have fresh meat and fair prices. Hard to find in Ohio. Been in buissness since 1886 I believe passed down through the family.

Thank you. I was tired of dealing with the grocery stores. They really don't want to help. Also every one else requires large orders. Known of it for years don't know why I didn't stop sooner.

Well really there is tons of butcher shops here. Problem mostly is either they what to sell a minimum amount at a time or they just charge to much. These are Quakers I believe, really nice and will do any thing to help. It's a family operation with the daughters and sons working together. Just watching them makes be feel better. They even sell casings and things there. Think they'll be seeing me real often. LOL

Nice find, little Mom and Pop joints like that really like samples of what you do. Trust me it will make you better friends and better deals down the road.

Don't I know it. Learned a long time ago deer hunting and such people really enjoy trying others meats. I will be taking them a roll soon. Plus I like to see people enjoying my products also! No better pat on the back.
