Just a reminder that the starer I brought to you Guys at the MWSO

needs to be re-newed or used this week.

Also, what you have is a half starter.

Most of the stuff written on the Forum is for a full starter.

I think most of you have my number so call if I can be of help.

If you don't have my number and need to talk to me, PM me

and I will send it.

This has been a Public Service Reminder. ;D

Bacon is the Crack Cocaine of the Food World.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Thanks to Sonny's Sweet Bread Starter Hotline, we have renewed and will probably be baking some rolls or bread tomorrow.

Thanks for the assist Sonny!

You guys are gonna have fun with that starter, I know I do.

Got plans for my starter (which is named Sonny) this weekend.

Tenpoint5

Starter is started!!

Mixed the sugar and flour

Added starter and water and mixed

CRG said it should come off the spoon in ribbons/globs if I remember right. Must have done something right it is doing that.

Resting comfortably on the counter with a tea towel over the top of it overnight.

Lookin good Chris.

Is Miss Rachel helpin ya?

Smokin Soon

Wish you folks with the starter get some good happy bubbling foamy mix! That means ya got it made for some killer bread.

Tenpoint5

Woke up this morning to find this.

Then I lifted the towel and it looked something like this.

So I put 1/2 a cup back in the jar and made 3 more starters with the other cup of starter. One was delivered to my sons fourth grade teacher and the other is waiting to see if Miss Rachels science teacher wants it.

First try!

Been a long time since I worked with bread dough.  I'll tell you one thing, these are good!  Oh yeah, there are several missing from the group in the pic.  Jan and I snatched them up and started eating before I could even think about a camera. :)

Thanks so much Sonny!

Larry, You Guys did a great job! Fantastic! It gets easier every time.

Sonny, I think you need a google map to show the bread keepers when you go to the reunion. If you send me the info I'll put it together. I think they would get kick to see how far the starter has gone.
