Did up a Tri-Tip for the first time ever Sunday!

Thank you VERRY much Larry.

Rubbed it down with 50/50 GP/BAMA RED.

Let that soak in them flip and do it again.

Smoked for 3 hr with Oak, wrapped in plastic, a towel and dropped in the cooler for a few hr then unwrapped the towel and threw it in the fridge over night.

When I got home last night I pulled that baby outta the fridge and man was it MOIST.

Sliced that baby up

Then wrapped back up in all them juices.

I got me some big ol Philly sammies planed for this most delishos pile of beef.  :o

Thanks again Larry

Funny that you posted this today as it dawned on me earlier this morning that you had yet to post about cooking one.  That one looks really good and you're more than welcome.

Is it bad if my wife refers to the smoker as "The Mistress"?

It's hard to find a good philly around here.  About n hour or so north in Clearwater there a 2 pretty good Philly Cheesesteak stands that claim to be from Philly.  Everytime I'm up that way I stop by.  Havent really found anything too close too my house.  But me loves me a philly too.

Just when I think I know what I'm going to smoke this weekend you have to go post something like this and make me question my decision. That looks delicious!
