I had my '99 (2002-2006) T-Hoe for 4 years and I loved it!  Never any problems.  I do miss it....

No Bryan, it was the hatch/tailgate style.  Although it was impractical and hard to load stuff I didnt like the look of the barn doors on that body style.  I believe all the new tahoes are now liftgates and barn doors.
