Oh hell son, slap the Gunpowder Rub on it just like the bazillion you and I have smoked/cooked together.

Because I don't have any!  Will have to do this one from scratch..

Go look in Hals' secret stash.  You know he's got some Gunpowder Rub out there in the garage!  He may not know it but I'll bet he has some! :D

I use 1 part fine sea salt (same grind as table salt) 1 part butchers grind black pepper, 1 part granulated garlic and 1 part granulated onion on my briskets.

Just sayin.  ;D

Santa Nebraska rub...   I like it.

I thought about breaking out that jar of Wooster powder I split with you ages ago, but I don't want to cover up the flavor of the $$ meat.    I'll get it out next time I do smoked Italian beef.

Dude.......you are the second person that read my mind today!

I'm gonna add 1/2 part Wor powder to my brisket rub.

Got the smoker fired up and the brisket ready, just mixin up my rub now.

Gonna be a good weekend,,,I can feel it.

Correction,,,,,,,,,,,1 part Wor powder= perfect!

Had the whole tribe try it and its a GO!

On its way STC.  You should see it Thursday.
I only had 5 Oak pucks left and I included them.
I am missing some home made beef jerky from my desk at work and with the box swapping I did at the post office, my afternoon snack may have ended up in the package.  If so, hope you enjoy.   ;D
There is some of my pepper blend seasoning that has a mixture of Habanero, Super Cayanne and jalapeno.  Test for heat before using.   8)  CRG may remember the hotter version of this from our trip to Houston.
I also threw in some all purpose seasoning that I made.  It is my favorite on steaks.  A little different ratio mix in this batch from previous ones I did.
Next time I'll have to get the box and take it home instead of trying to stuff and mail it on the fly at the post office.  The box I was going to use needed tape which I didn't plan for so used one that was self sealing and therefore had lots of room that I could have stuffed more goodies.
