How did things go in Raystown?  :-\
I stopped in Saturday for the BBQ comp. and got to meet and chat with Bryan. It was cool to finally get to meet him.  :)
There were a bunch of rigs set up. Some were huge and others were old filing cabinets converted to smokers.  ;D
It was a nice day, cooled off as the sun went behind the clouds from time to time. Boats on the lake.
I tried a brisket sandwich at a stand near where Bryan was set up, they also had a wood fired pizza oven. The line for the pizza was long but I wanted to try the brisket. It was very tender and the sauce and grilled onions were good. I was a little shocked it had no smoke flavor at all. I think if that is what they served the judges, they did not fair well.
Anyway, it was fun meeting Bryan and I hope they did well.  :)
