Playoff cheese!

Thought I better get a little cheese ready for later in the football season.

once a month I'm going to do this while it's cool and I won't want in the summer ;)

now the wait 8)

Ka Honu

I feel so "DUH!" It never occurred to me to label the package with the amount & type of smoke.

I see those big hunks of Tillamook and get so jealous..

It only comes in small $$$$ packages around here.

I see a lot of stuff on here we don't have up here in the sticks, so now aI feel alittle better knowing you have the same frustrations.
(but then again I haven't smoked everything inour grocery store yet. ;D)

Looking good!  Waiting for it to cool down here to smoke some more cheese. Down to 2 pkgs (hidden)

I have found that if i cut up the cheese into smaller chunks they get more of the smoke and are easier to eat later.

Let me know how the guoda come out, I have never smoked that.

I have to agree with DTaggie...the smoked Gouda is fantastic..have done it with apple pecan and maple even with a puck or 2 of cherry.. also have made it with a combo of the previous woods...yum!

That's what I've been doing cutting them in chunks that fit on crackers when sliced.
