I'm planning to do a couple Kielbasa fatties on Saturday, in 90MM fibrous casing, what wood do you guys think would be a good choice?

I like Pecan on sausage but Oak and Hickory work well also.

Pecan sounds like a nice choice, I was trying to get away from using the Hickory becasue it seems like thats a bit of the "universal" wood, and wanted to try something different.

Thats something I forgot to ask, do the fibrous casings need any different smoking times/techniques? This is the first time I've used them, I've been a salted hog casing guy up to this point.
