Smoking Peppers

Habs, your chiles need to be really dry too.  I smoke mine for a couple of hours then put them in the dehydrator until they are almost crispy then grind.

Bought one from Hamilton beach for spices. Been using it all the time even just to mix them. Seems like a very even mix then.

I generally dry them until they are still a little leathery. So the next time, before grinding I will pop them in my oven. I don't have a dehydrator, but my oven has a "Dryer" mode.
