Afrter seeing his collection when you were living in PA, I'd say he might be right.  Wouldn't that be a big surprise, nothing under the tree on Christmas morning.  You could always get him more CT.  One of his pictures looked like he was down to his last case.

Cornmeal-and-Brown sugar crusted bacon.

1/4 cup plain yellow corn meal
3 Tbs brown sugar
1 1/2tsp black pepper
16 slices of thick bacon

Pre heat oven to 400, Combine corn meal,brown sugar and pepper in a shallow dish. Dredge bacon on both sides. Place coated bacon on wire rack in a cookie sheet (this will let the grease fall) Bake at 400 for 40-45 mins or until brown and crispy.
