Ok... aside from the (FREAKY HIGH) cost of mudbug tails...
Any other reason for 5 to 1?  instead of 5 to 2?...
Would it stick together ok?

Hal, since we had never done this before, we went with just the one-pound package.
If I do this again, I will use 2 pounds of crawfish instead of just one.  I do not think there would be any problem with it holding together.
The drawback is that we went from .98 cents a brat to make with one package of crawfish up to $1.65 a brat.  And it made only 19 brats.   :o

Thanks Seemore and Squirt, made some (backed off the heat by @1/3) and added to a 15 bean Cajun soup mix yesterday. Let it slow cook all day. Wow, you both did good. We'll be having this again for sure.
