Hi,
newbie here, I own 1 old bradley 6 rack digital and 3 new ones,  unfortunatley the 3 new ones have all died in the last couple days. I sent one back to amazon and they replaced it and it also died after 2 smokes. I then got one here and read about all the heating element problems so I called bradley. Bradley was great about sending the new elements but they come with no instructions for replacement, just the elements in the box. Can anyone point me in the right direction? It's the middle of deer season here and I need to get these going ASAP. thanks in advance

will try to help.

there are a few steps that you  need to go through.

1) remove your  smoke generator , shelves, v tray and any  other items inside of your smoker just to give you  more  working room
2) remove the back cover
3) remove the  screws and nuts on the ceramic mounts on the heater and heater reflector. ( be careful the ceramic breaks easily )

4) at this  point you  should be able to see the ends of the element along  with the wire. remove the nuts on the  ends of the  element and  replace with new element,,,

5 ) re assemble as reversing the above  process

Wow, a 100% failure rate on four new smokers.... and I thought I had bad luck.

I used a small 6 point socket to get those little screws loose on the element. I found that to be easier than trying to get a wrench on them.

The instructions can also be found on the recipe site.

Don't see any reason to pull back off.
