Belly bacon hanging around........

Today was belly bacon day. 3hours of hickory and an IT of 145ish yields this.

Hung up to cool down before they get wrapped in plastic wrap and into the frig overnight to let the smoke mellow out and distribute evenly.


The house smells fabulous right about now!

Dang !!! Larry them bacons look beautiful, some of that in the morning with some eggs and home fries fried in the bacon grease and 1/2 loaf of toast...makes everything right with the world...lol..

The racks are stainless steel bacon hangers.  Can't remember exactly who I ordered them from.  Just Google "bacon hangers".  That will give you plenty of sources.
