prime rib

OK, well Id like to try and do a prime rib. I have tried some of the recipes on here and they have been great so I thought Id ask for your help with this. Rubs baths and or stock broths. I'm have a dinner party in June for around 15 to 20 pepole and would like to be able to do a good prime rib. ;)

Read the following three posts from seriouseats.com and go from there.  If you want a smoke flavor, I recommend cold-smoking the day before roasting and then using the recipe at the last link.  The key is steady low and slow while roasting.
