5 lbs of 90/10 GB for some beer stix.

I hate yuengling lager but this is what was called for.

This recipe has ST, SH & SH in it

ST: Sodium Tripolyphosphate

SP: Sodium Pyrophosphate

SH: Sodium Hexametaphosphate

This keep the product moist and is in all sorts of food you buy at the stores. No its not TSP you get at Lowes or Homepeepot.

5 lbs all mixed. Cover fridge for stuffing tomorrow.

Naaaa, staying away from down there. Way to many peoples and traffic for me.

Here the beer sticks.

Had a pack of 19mm needed to be used.

Stuffed and resting for an hour at room temp.

PID @ 130 for 1.5 hours no smoke. PID working from the 130 thru 170 if needed. Fan whirling away.

Another fine Nepas project and they contain beer, gotta be good.Think maybe the whole recope may show up here at some point and time?

stix are looking good.

I've been to St. Pats day a few times in Savannah YEARS ago. Back when they turned the river Green for it.
Had a friend back then that lived 2 miles from downtown.
It was fun back then but don't think I'd do it now.

A stall with the fan? WTH

VERY interesting links there, Rick!

Glad you made mention of the distinction between the ingredients used & industrial TSP!  ;D

I've found numerous recipes that call for Amos. Phos. & have always wondered WHAT about a certain recipe necessitates the inclusion of phosphate?
I understand the qualities these ingredients impart, but wondered if there were certain variables in a recipe which make them distinct from those that DON'T have phosphates?
