decided to give these a try and was impressed how they came out will deff do it again.

That is a tasty recipe for sure.  Looks like you have to do a second batch right away!  Another good nut recipe is here: http://www.susanminor.org/forums/showthread.php?435-Smoked-Almonds  if you are looking to branch out.  When I did it the first time it seemed a bit salty, so reduced the salt by 1/3 second time around and it was fantastic.  Watch them carefully in the oven and DO stir them a couple of times and DON'T let them overcook there.  Let 'em dry overnight to get the full flavor and crunchiness!  Dang, now you have me thinking about the pistachios again.

Tried a batch using the Tabasco "chipotle" sauce this past weekend, and believe it or not, I haven't tried them yet.  The Green jalapenos went in the smoker first, and they've kept me pretty happy so far.  The chipotle ones are vac-sealed, so I just have to get the motivation to open the first bag of them  ;D.
