Well my future son in law made it to the states. They sure don't get in a hurry bring our boys home. Usually about 2 weeks to get home. Brought him into the states in New Jersey Dumped him there and said in about 9 days well get you home. My daughter said BULL! She's dropping our grand child off and driving down to get him. Nice way to treat a top grade marine sniper who's been shot 3 time and almost blew up once. He got a broken shoulder ,arm and busted up real well when the truck he was riding shot gun on blew a bomb up and truck went into the air. Soon as he could he was back in the fighting.  He spent months behind the lines with nothing but a rifle and a spotter. Said he always feels safer there. In camp you can always get shot by people suppose to be on your side. Or some new officer who starts sending guys out for who knows what. When he hasn't even got to learn the area. Hope fully he don't sign up for more deployments and stays in the states.

so true w/ new officers.  some boot ensigns will always try and cause trouble.  we threw one of them over the side one time.  he transfered after that.  they never came back to the fantail again.

My sons unit lost a hero today and a few wounded.

This is going to major suck for a few months.
