I have a friend over by Ft Stewart that owns his own shrip boat. He calls me and asks if i want some shrimps.

Got down there and he had like 100lbs. Said i only need a couple lbs.

I've had the prawn pots in the water since the 1st of the month but it seems a little slower this year. Last year I was getting 200 or more a day but this year the best i've done is 140. Beauty of a day to be out on the water today, tho. Took a hundred or so up to the inlaws this weekend and they disappeared very rapidly.

I have to look around I found a place in South Texas that will ship fresh flash frozen Skrimps $20 for a 5 lb bag.

Fresh shrimp out of the Gulf, I don't think there are any with better taste.

I live very near the gulf and agree that they are/were good, but I prefer the big ones that are caught off the South Carolina coast.
