Does any one have a good source for making good aujus?  Have been buying packets of McCormick and it has been just alright.

Thanks

nodak,
My favorite are Minors soup base. I use the beef base and the aus jus.

I have not ordered from this company, I always bought from a wholesaler. The base consistency is like a paste, not dry.

We use Swanson AuJus when we can find it.  I think there is a Franco Aujus that is not bad either.  We look inthe gravy isle and get a "wet" canned aujus ans simmer it with some of our meat.  We have done a spectacular Beef Roast Grilled, then sliced and simmered in aujus and layered on a French loaf with sauted red onion and peppers topped with Brie and drizzled with Balsamic Vinigar and Olive Oil that is to die for.   The aujus adds some great juice on the bread thats just .....   ooohhh...

sorry, senses are retur...  ooooohhhh  ning....   oooohhhhh

Ok.  I am REAL HUNGRY .....GRRRRRGGRRR
