Does anyone know how to insert multiple quotes in a message?

I click on the insert quote button but nothing shows up in the message.  Is it cause I'm still a newb?

I just click on the quote link/button in the top right corner of the message I want to quote and it shows up in the post reply box. Sorry if this doesn't help, not sure how to show what I'm trying to say.

There seems to be some type of glitch, I can't get it to work either. I haven't been able to insert quotes for some time. I've been meaning to send Brian a PM. I'm not sure if it is a problem in the forum software, or my browser (IE 8 ), or my security settings.

I just tried it again and it is still not working. Just to make sure we are discussing the same link, it is the link that STQ circled in his screen shot.
