Finally got a chance to use my tumbler this weekend and made up some shish kabobs.
Made up an marinade.

Got a nice hunk of beef.

Cubed it up.

Tossed that in the drum, theres 2 lb in there.

Dumped in the marinade.

Put the vacuum to it.

Ready to tumble.

20 min later, let drip wile I cut up the veggies.

All ready for the smoker.

Gave them 1 hr Pecan.

Ready for TBE.

When they were about done toasted me a bun.

All done.

Time for a sammie.

Holy crap that was gooood.
Still have a little left.

Mamma is kindy picky on some of the veggies so she just picks what she likes outta the pile.

Oh yeah!    You could fit about 50 kabobs worth of beef in that thing.....

That looks Great! Like Squirt said it looks like you could stick half a beef in that thing
Bacon is the Crack Cocaine of the Food World.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

They look great.  Shishkabobs have come a long way since the time that the Turks and Tartars cooked pieces of meat on a stick over wood-fire coals!  Was there any pink left in the meat after the smoke?  I like doing my shishkabobs,  on the barbecue with the flames licking the meat, and nice and pink inside.  My favorite meat for them is lamb.

That tumbler is sure a handy gadget.  Makes me want to get one.  (once I build an addition to the house to store all my culinary equipment).

Curt aren't those kabob holders great ;)

There was after the smoke but not after the time in TBE.

The veggies wernt done after the smoke time, thats why I finidhed in TBE.

That kabob holder upper looks cool, thanks Tommy for the pic.
