Beer Can Chicken in the MAK...

We did a beer can chicken and baked potatoes in the MAK today and it turned out well...

We used a 7 lbs roaster...

Nice $$ shot. I have one of those beer can holders and have never used it. You know one those things you happen to see as your walking down an isle at the store and say, hmmm, I'll make some beer can yard bird ;D

Excellent looking chicken with a nice bronze suntan. Yard birds are on sale this week at Fred Meyer for 78 Cents a pound limit 3 birds.

What setpoint were you at for the cook? And how long?

Mike...the set point was 350 and I think is was 2 hours and forty five minutes and the IT in the breast was at 185
