going under the knife tomorrow -send prayers

Good luck and I wish you a speedy recovery.

I know 2 other people that had back surgeries for the same thing and they are both glad they did it.

You are lucky that you have access to quick health care. Where I am that is gone. My wife has had severe pain in her neck and upper back for years. When she finally decided to do something about it, it took 2 years to see a specialist, then 10 months to get a CT scan, then 2 months to see the specialist again and then we were told it would be another 10 to 12 months to get the nerves in her neck zapped. After 4 months of waiting she couldn't wait any longer and we elected to go to a private clinic and pay out of pocket and the wait for the nerve operation was only 2 more months. She goes in this Friday.
