Here is what I found on it Hal

"A crunchy cabbage based condiment, also containing mustard, green bell pepper, onion and carrots, it's essentially a cross somewhere between a vinegar coleslaw and salsa, and it has a nice healthy kick to it too."

NePaSmoker,

I personally can't wait till you share your HONEST thoughts on Slawsa...because I am co-owner of the brand.  I think people are confused because they've never seen a condiment like ours but we feel confident the taste will speak for itself and I'm so glad that you've found us!  We're just the little David trying to make it in the wold of Goliath's and it looks like you won't be boring guests with traditional condiments at 4th of July!

Happy smoking and again Thank you!

Julie

PS. My husband and I use a 48" pull-behind Lang.

I have to try some of this...

Guys and gals,
I have tried Slawsa.  It is really good.  I have tried it on hotdogs, hamburgers, left-over pulled pork, and some throw-together flour tortilla carnitas.  It will be a staple in my refrigerator.  Any place you would use cole slaw or salsa, try Slawsa.  It really works.

I'm waiting on the garlic myself. I like a little crunch in my sammys. I even put Kimchee on a salami sammy so this is right up my alley!

hal4uk,

Actually, not from GA but rather NC.  My partner lives in TN.  The guys at Lang were super nice...couldn't believe when they offered to haul our smoker up to us...of course this was a few years back, long before fuel hitting $4/gal.

So, did you try out Slawsa yet?  I'd love a verdict!

Tenpoint5

I know I have looked for it in the Fareway stores and even in the Hy-Vee stores nothing yet here in Eastern Iowa.

Have not seen it in PA.  :(

It's Vitameatavegiman just like Lucy said  :D

I have seen posts on other websites(with great reviews) about this but have not found it in the great state of Georgia yet.
Looking forward to trying it.
Nepas, where did you pick this up?

...But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Hey Smokers!  Thought I'd give you a little update on Slawsa...

Tenpoint5 & OU812, We've been talking to HyVee but still trying. Wal-mart may be the first opportunity if they bring us that far in October, but I just don't know yet.

Pensrock, We're talking to Wegman's but like HyVee, it could take a little time.

Up In Smoke...we should be in many locations in Gerogia.  If you have Publix or Ingles Markets, check out the top shelf of the relish aisle as we are in all of those stores.  Also, all Piggly Wiggly's along the GA coast (part of PW Carolinas) and many others throughout the state (pulling from PW Birmingham) are just starting to carry Slawsa in the relish aisle.  Finally, and we haven't announced yet but all Kroger stores will carry Slawsa beginning in mid-Sept (again, relish aisle).

Keymaster, yup...afraid that other than 1 store in Pomona, CA, it's going to be a while before we really get too far west.  Where are you at?

I do want to let you all know that we're going to be running a promotion on our facebook page beginning Labor Day (through 9/7) where we are giving away a free case of Slawsa. We do give away free jars at random to our fans as we reach certain "like" milestones.  We'll also be running some recipe contests this fall in which we give away free cases as well.

Finally, we have our 1-case of Slawsa Original on Sale (17% off, lowest price of the year) on our website now until Aug 26th (so we can ship for people to receive before Labor Day).

As a small business, I truly appreciate your interest!
