I need to put my new smoker on something.  I'm considering building a cabinet or counter for it to set on under my covered patio.  How much heat is generated out of the bottom of the Bradley?  Am I limited to as to the type of surface it can sit on?  Any ideas???

Thanks,
Steve

Although I have never taken specific temp readings, it's never seemed to get that hot to me. The entire unit is insulated, so I don't think it would be much of an issue if using basic common sense.

I would suggest that the material be easily cleanable in case grease leaks out.

Ya think next time I check into a hotel & they ask "Smoking or Non?" they would mind?

Heres my 1.87 cents (AR math) worth.  I have my smoker on top of a rectangle plastic lid from "one of those cheap storage containers" you buy from WallyWorld to catch any fluids.  That cheap plastic has never even come close to disforming or melting.
