FLBentrider rides for Cancer Research!

As you may know I do a lot of cycling. I have covered more than 2100 miles this year commuting to work.

The last 2 years I participated in the Dolphins Cycling Challenge.

The first year, I rode 75 miles and raised $750.00

Last year I am "kicked it up a notch" - I signed up for 175 miles - 100 miles on 11/5 and 75 on 11/6. The wind was a (*^* on 11/5 but I got through it.

I have to raise $1200.00 this year.

We are raising money for cancer research - to benefit the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The first year we raised a total of US$533,106.00

Last year we raised US$1,070,000.00

On the sign up site, is that the gross amount or per mile amount?

Gross, it is just a flat donation amount. There is no "per mile" option.

I'm sorry, every time I've been seeing the light at the end of the financial tunnel, its turned out to be a friggin' freight train comin' at me around 200 mph. One of these times I will be able to make good on the posts and contribute...I promise.
