Hello from Canada.  Just purchased a new digital Jim Beam SS smoker...seasoning right now.  First meal tomorrow, but not sure what to try.
Looking forward to using the forum for advice since this was one of the big influences in my decision to go with a Bradley.

BTW - Saskatoon is about 400 miles north west of Minot, ND.  I get this question a lot when I travel.

Cheers.

Where the heck is Minot, North Dakota (other than about 400 miles SE of Saskatoon)?

Actually I sorta know where Saskatoon is because it's where they bought out the liquor store in Festival Express.  Hope you have a bigger store now.

Mr Walleye

Saskatoon is about 140 miles north of Moose Jaw. Everybody knows where Moose Jaw is!  :D  :D  ;D

Welcome to the forum Todboy! Loads of great information here and don't forget about the recipe site. Just click on the smoker at the bottom of my post. Lots of great things to try from all the fine folks here on the forum.

Don't know for sure but figure it is safe to say that it is north of Alabama somewhere.  Welcome aboard.

C'mon, FLBR, is that the best you got?  Anything under 3400 doesn't even count.

That's taking the short cut. If you turn RIGHT leaving Saskatoon.... pass your house on the way....

So I am guessing there are no old school country music fans here.  Sonny James had a hit on a song titled "Just a little bit South of Saskatoon".

Not a country music fan but... That's Moose Jaw, just a little south of Saskatoon!

See, I told you everyone knows where Moose Jaw is!  :D  :D  :D  :D  ;D

Well, as we're going in a musically themed direction...  I can't resist...  and yes, Moose Jaw is even mentioned in this song too  :) (and no offence meant to anyone smokin' in Hong Kong!):
