You now have experience - the knowledge that you gain from doing a stupid thing which then prevents you from doing the same stupid thing again.  Unless you forget.  Or have a "hold my beer..." moment.

Never pick up hot metal off the ground with no gloves on that you just witnessed being cut with a torch because you are trying to make a great impression of your cleaning skills to your new boss at your first job...

Never try to remove a hot Bubba puck from a Bradley smoke generator with your bare hands and for God's sake don't do it on two different occasions. :o Don't ask me how I know this.

As with the others, certainly I would never do such a thing and certainly I wouldn't do it twice! ::) :P

Reading between the lines, you guys are a bunch of klutzes.  I'm glad I've never done anything that stupid.  Especially that time that...  that...  that...  Oh damn! I seem to have forgotten where this was going.  Well, anyway, I'm glad (even if I don't remember why).

The amazing Ginzu knife- it will slice, it will dice, it will even take a pea-sized chunk of skin off your left index finger... I heard this in one of their ads (or something like it).
