So i decided a few months back to do some smoked cooper for my old roomate from college. He found out I smoked my own stuff and asked me if I can do some for him. So I did and low and behold I created a monster. Long story short he loved it and wanted more, and the conversation unfolded as such...

Jesse: Hey man I got your wedding invitation, I am soo coming, it's going to be awesome. A room full of booze and friends and fraternity brothers, and the wife at home watching the baby, what better way to spend my weekend. I WILL BE THERE. So while we're at it, uhm, you know that cheese that you made me a while back (at this point I knew where this was going) Well since I'm going to be down there and all and since the wedding is a little over a month away, do you uhm think...?

Me: YES Jesse I will smoke more Cooper cheese for you. 5 lbs sound good enough?

Jesse: YOU ROCK

That's pretty much how the conversation went, outside of lots of cursing about other stuff and crap we deal with on a daily basis but regardless...I go to the butcher and pick up my less than normal 25 lbs of London Broil for jerky and grab a big block of Cooper for Jesse. Now the weather is supposed to be really crappy on the day rain and wind up to 25 mph, this should be fun....

and of course some # 9 for my troubles

all sliced and ready to go. I was asked to add a little more smoke so I went 2 1/2 hours of Peach. BTW don't ask me what the baby powder was doing on my table?????

something got stuck on this, i think it was a pepper of some kind stuck on my frog mat

All sealed up and ready to give as a wedding gift to my guest, HAH

The funny part about this was that my brother showed up while I was packaging this and walked in while I was doing something and I came back into my room and he was breaking a piece off and went to eat it and I tried stopping him...he then in turn spit it out and said "that tasted like a butt holes cigarette"

HAHAHAHA

Nice job on the cheese.

If you don't want your brother asking for smoked cheese too, then don't tell him it tastes great after it rests for a while. ;) ;D

Smoked Cooper Sharp is GREAT. It is by far the most requested cheese I smoke. The second most requested is horseradish. I love both. :)

I wouldn't know how great it is, I can't eat cheese.
