Hi Folks.
Your expert help needed once more.
I was just wandering if any of you have had a puck burn twice? only now and again I get one, the tel tale sign being that very tiny black charcoal puck disk in
the puck tray. I have checked all the guides and no wear also changed the micro switch and motor. Still the same but I must stress again that it is only now and again perhaps once a smoke. Is it worth worying about am i just a bit paranoid. Have any of you guys had the same?Is it usuall?
You thoughts would be greatlfully appreciated.

Thanks.

The puck has stayed on the burner longer than the 17-20 mins thus causing the complete burn thru. Cause could be the pusher not operating right, very dry (no moisture) in the puck.

This happens at time and i wouldn't get my panties in a wedgie over it.

Reading an earlier thread I noticed that KyNola had the same problem wondering if he still has it?

Thanks NePaSmoker.
I think I wont let it get me to bothered.

Cheers.

KyNola

itchy, like you, I still have the issue on occasion.  I just live with it now.

Yep I have it every now and then as well. I chalk it off as one of the pucks in the down tube was a little bit off, of being perfectly straight up and down and got hung up on the lip during the cycling of the pusher. No Big Deal. It does serve as a really good reminder to clean out the inside of your Smoke Generator, if your like me and don't clean it out every 4-5 smokes!
Bacon is the Crack Cocaine of the Food World.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Yup. What Tenpoint5 said. It does it on occasion. Don't waste any time wondering about it. Some of my pucks get freight damaged and it causes them to hang up now and again. No big deal.
