Lasagna

OU812

First we build the sauce, 1 lb GB a small onion, and 1/2 of a green pepper

Cook till the GB is no longer pink and the veggies are tender

Dump in a 28 oz can of petite diced tomatoes, juice N all and a 6 oz can tomato paste

Mix that up good then add a bay leaf, parsley, oregano, basil

Mix again and simmer 20 min,,,,,,,,,,,,cook the noodles
Make the filling; 10 oz chopped spinach,1 lb whole milk ricotta cheese, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup grated parmesan/romano cheese, 1 tea salt and 1 tea table ground black pepper

Time to make the lasagna, first 1/3 of the sauce

1/2 cup grated parmesan/romano cheese

8 oz mozzarella

Noodles

1/2 of the filling

1/3 more sauce

Another 4 oz mozzarella

Noodles

The other half of the filling

The last of the sauce

Another 4 oz cheese

The remaining noodles

And top with 1 lb of cheese

Bake at 350 F for 45 min, turn on the broiler for 4 min and we get this

Let rest 30 min, slice and serve

Now thats what Im talkin about!

A hunk of garlic cheese bread and dig in!
