I had one of those cheap Cabelas grinders with the plastic gears, it worked ok but have always wanted a nice one. Could not really justify it though since the old one worked.

We got a new dog, a small lab mix.

I came home from work awhile back to find he had gotten into the bag my grinder parts were in, I had used it and washed it but did not put it away yet

He had all the plastic parts, including the auger screw gear, chewed up into a million pieces all over the living room floor!

GOOD DOG I said lol

I just took delivery of a LEM #5 SS grinder!! I should have gotten the #8 but this one was on sale and will work fine

30 lbs of kolbacz are on tap for tomorrow morning!! My wife's family loves it for xmas dinner, I give it away for gifts too. So the wife said go ahead and  the one you want!!!

I love that dog LOL

Theres more than one way to skin a cat...er uh I mean replace a stuffer. The dog justified it so it has to be. LOL

You probably can make some money renting that dog out to other forum members.

Lol!  Those lab mixes don't out grow the chewing and digging for about 3 yrs! Make sure what you want replaced is in reach.  Can't stop laughing!  Make sure he gets a nice treat! ;D

That's a good dog and apparently you have trained him well. ;) Oh you know what else they are good for ............ when you have a failed batch of sausage they will happily get rid of the evidence for you. Well that's what I've been told. ::)

Their good for licking little kids faces and making them laugh their little butts off so they are not under your feet.  ::)

Also great for cleaning of grill grates and drip pans ;)

Reminds my of my daughter and SIL's dog. Whenever they or their kids drop something on the floor they yell "Lucy- KP". She comes a runnin and happily cleans up the mess.
I'm just a social smoker, I can quit any time I want.
