Funny how some snow and 35 mile an hour sustained winds will do that!

Hard to see but it is snowing sideways supposed to continue doing that till 6pm tonight

Picked up a new toy

Been kinda busy over the past week

Made 10 pounds of Salami for sammitches

Also made 10 pounds of summer sausage in the new casings. Here are two of the chubs with the casing removed, they took on some nice smoke and color.

Even got creative with some peppermint candies and made some edible trays too put candy on for the neighbors Christmas baskets

I have a whole pork belly cured and ready to be smoked into bacon, 10 pounds of snack sticks, plus 10 pounds of venison hot dogs to make. Would really like to have the Bradley's up and running today instead of sitting idle, that's for sure!! But they sit idle till the BLIZZARD is over!

Your smokers may be idle, but it still looks like you've been busy! Good stuff, where do you find the time!?
I'm just a social smoker, I can quit any time I want.

Keymaster

Good lookin stuff you made Chris. Snow sucks, we had a couple inches this week and I have already seen enough for this winter.

oakville smoker

I am jealous
Not of the idling smoker but the snow
As a die hard skier, it makes me drool and snow is just something we do not seem to be getting here in the great green north
Used to be the great white north but apparently winter got back ordered !

Please send us some and then you can smoke till your hearts content
All I wanted to do was slow smoke some ribs.  Another addiction created thanks to the Bradley that requires regular servicing...  But what an addiction to have.  Even better to share here with some of the best people on the planet.

Would you like smoke with that sir ?

Snow isn't stopping me it's the 35 mph winds gusting to 45 mph. I really don't want to open my garage door and have that blowing in! Besides it's a good excuse to take a day off and watch it snow!
