10.5 came over yesterday to watch the race and we cased up some of OU812's ring Bologna and a form of hunters sausage that I hope turns out similar to NEPAS.  Neither of us took many pictures although Chris had a couple of good ones warming up some bacon on my Pizzazz for cheese fries that he may post.

Here's after stuffing and a couple hours of smoke

Here's blooming this morning after an ice bath.

Show me the "Money" shot.

You can't tell how good a Cow is untill you cut the meat.

Get out that sharp knife and slice one.

According to Chris you couldn't find a sharp knife in my household but I'll see what I can do.

I would say you couldn't find a sharp knife within 47 miles of your place!! That would be My place!!

Here's the kind of stuff I was dealing with. THIS is how the man cooks BACON!! Do you really think he would have a sharp tool in his shed??? I think NOT!!

I'd say my Shed is pretty well equiped since we were able to sit out in it at 66 degrees wathcing TV, drinking beer, and making sausage with the women folk in the house.

OK Sonny and Rick here's the money.

first, the ring bologna.  It has freakin' awesome flavor.  it reminds me of a smokehouse my FIL use to take me to up on the Iowa/Minn. border. Exactly what I was looking for.

Next, the hunter sausage.  It's good but could have a little more flavor.  Still good though.
