As you might have noticed (or not..  ::)), Hal and I have been pretty quiet around here lately.

We're gearing up to start are own semi-mobile BBQ business.   Weekend warrior stuff.  We still need our day jobs to pay for all this stuff.    ;)
So far, we've got a business license, DBA, tax IDs, FEIN, and just recently, Foodservice Manager licenses.   And a bigazzed warehouse to hold all of our equipment...

We're still navigating the shark infested waters of City/County Gubmint Regulation, but the end is in sight.   Or rather, the beginning.

I put my camera down last fall, but I hope to pop off the lens cap soon, and start snapping some pictures of massive quantities of Poke!

We did a 'test run' back in November (before winter set in) for a Cancer fundraiser.   They fed about 400-500 people.    We learned a lot.   :o
