So my scale is acting up....what do y'all use?  I need to buy a new one that weighs in grams and pounds.  Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I've got a digital (can't remember the brand), and I guess that's what you might need for grams..
For most tasks, a Pelouze is really more functional (and you don't need power).

But.. for grams?
You wanting a lab scale to watch costs?
What kinda side business you got going?   ;D   :o   8)

Nothing nefarious Hal.  ;) Just need grams in the sausage making.  I had(have) a digital and it sucks!  Well the one I have anyway.

Thanks Rexster I'll take a look at that one.

Got this one last fall. I like it.

Cooks Illustrated gave it a good review as well
I have that one too.  Love it.  Being able to pull out the pisplay from underneath the bowl/plate makes using the scale much easier to use and read.

I have a Mettler Toledo Xpress scale that I use for +11 lbs.

Has a max weight of 40 lbs.

For smaller stuff I use a Taylor "Slim" that does lbs, kg, oz, and g's
with the tear feature. It also doubles as my "lift" tray for when I
use my vac pak'er. Only thing I really don't like about it is the length
of time it stays on for. It's too short.

The OXO looks pretty kewl.

Since I don't use it as heavily as others, I got this one from Walmart

I second that Mike. That is the same scale I have in my kitchen.
