First time with lox, and my cold smoker mod

This is the fourth thing I've done with my smoker and it was a total success. I did a brisket the night before and it worked perfectly and yesterday did some lox following spyguys recipe. Incredible.

I didn't have time to buy the cold smoke adapter, but when looking at it online I realized "hey, that's just a box with a hose on it..." So, I made a box with a hose on it: EDIT: I don't know why the pic is not loading, another try: http://imgur.com/MtVLPzd

Worked great, the temp never got above 64F and the salmon is delicious. If anything, I might have smoked it a bit too long (2 hours with alder and apple). I'd had a fair amount of beer at that point, so my timing may be a bit off, but still....it's delicious.

It was actually an expensive mod, since that box had to be drained of all its wine.  ;)

Hey. That's just a box that the other booze came in. I'm ashamed to say that when I visit the liquor store, they have to give me a box to carry all my 0 out in. Mostly it was beer, jaeger and other fun stuff.
