Is there anyway to get answers to my questions emailed to me?

The benefits of a forum is that everyone may benefit from the answer that is given to you. Is there a special necessity for it to be emailed?

I think as long as you have your preferences set to receive notification then folks can send you a pm and you will be able to read it on your home computer email. You will not be able to respond from your email but you can respond in kind by logging on and sending a pm. Although most folks will not be able to read pm's sent to others, I believe the powers to be for the forum will be able to.

On a lot of forums when there is a reply to your post you get an e-mail with the reply.

If you are referring to having an email sent to you when there is a post to a certain thread there are two ways that I know of to do it on this forum.

When you create a post click on "Attachments and Other Options" and then select "Notify Me of Replies".

If it is a thread started by someone else. At the top of the first post on the page click on "Notify". Then click "OK".

Then you will need to go to "Modify Profile". Click on "Notifications". Then select the frequency you want the emails sent. The default is "Instantly-But only for the first reply". If that setting is alright for you then you don't need to go to "Modify Profile".
