How did your event turn out?  Anything going on fall or winter in Phoenix?  Headed out there...plans flexible.

Hi. The event was awesome. We had 22 vendors from bbq to book sellers,stilt walkers,face painting,Live Zydeco Band,Beer Garden and a awesome DJ. Approx. 2000 people showed up with 700 presold tickets. We boiled 1700lbs of Crawfish with 500 of those pounds being trapped right here in Arizona to help conservation efforts and get those pesky bugs out of Arizona water ways. We had alot of fun and it was a ton of work. I actually got stung by a Scorpion twice on my ribs on Monday the 5th with made it a crazy week of numbness while trapping had the festival on Saturday the 10th got all cleaned up and had a mini stroke (TIA) on Monday the 11th and was hospitalized for 4 days. I am doing better just moving alittle slow but already planning for next year. We may have a few small events before the end of the year and i will let you know. looks great, sounds  like there was a  lot of people fun had by  many and lots of labor by  a few,,,  sorry to hear you  getting  stung  and all the  medical issues ... im  sure it was still  worth it in the long run
