Just ordered my Bradley Jim Beam 4 rack after a wonderful weekend with some great friends. They have a Bradley and we cooked some awesome ribs, butts and chicken. My question is how would y'all run an initial burn before cooking for the first time?

Hi.  This link tells how to season a new Bradley:  How Do I Season My New Smoker?

Ted has pointed you in the right direction, on your first  smoke, run the top vent  wide open during the smoking / cooking  process, also start of on your  first time  smoking food with a  light amount of smoke, use 3 pucks to burn,,, ( load 5  pucks  the last 2 will not burn ) and adjust upwards  finding your  preference for smoke flavor adding 2 pucks at a time on the next smoke... also misquete and hickory are  strong  woods and will  not  require as many to use

Burned-off today with five "Special Blend" pucks. Going to through some thighs on tomorrow for first cook.
