DENVER, Colorado (AP) -- An online game based on the Columbine High School massacre is drawing criticism from a father whose son died in the 1999 attack, saying it trivializes the actions of the two teen killers.

The game, "Super Columbine Massacre RPG," was posted on a Web site last year, but is becoming more popular now. It draws on investigative material, including images of Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris, who killed 12 classmates and a teacher before committing suicide.

Players are told it is "ultimately up to you" how many people Harris and Klebold kill that day. Each time Harris and Klebold kill someone in the game, a dialogue box pops up that says: "Another victory for the Trench Coat Mafia."

The game also includes crime scene photos of the killers and images of students running and crying, though it does not have photos of any victims.

Super Columbine Massacre RPG  This rates right down there with what a whale leaves on the bottom of the ocean floor.

Olds, you are right. It takes a sick person to develop that game and it is horrible to think that people are having fun playing it. It almost makes you want to cry.

I think all video game with shooting and killing send a very bad message.There is no differnce from playing a shooting game like ghost recon battlefield call of duty.To a game like this.All shooting games and games like vice city should be banned.And anyone who plays these games .WELL LETS JUST SAY THEY HAVE NO LIFE.Go read a book take a walk something besides sitting in front of a tv monitor shooting people and things.If ya ever had a friend or loved one shot and killed you would know how it feels .Then that book or bike ride isnt bad at all.ALL SHOOTING GAMERS ARE LOSERS.IMO....

That reminds me. I have to order my copy of GRAW (Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter). Well got to get back to playing Far Cry.

BTW Have you ever noticed how it is the no talent that trash talk first person shooters?  Especially between those who belong to a fun loving honest group of gamers and a nose-pickin'-want-to-be-no-talent-never-server-their-country-wish-I had-a-little-@ick?   

They always seem to be opinionated in areas they have no knowledge of, let alone a slight understanding of it. Such as in a RPG (Super Columbine Massacre) and a First Person Shooter like GRAW. DUH~~!

I just copied/ posted this whole thread over to the BADS site.  I'm not going to post it on the new GRAW site, but if one of the member's of BADS does I think Martin is going to be real busy. If GRAW takes off like GR1's main posting site did then there will be 'bout 38,000 ticked off gamers wanting to express their option, and they might just want to do it here.

I don't know if you want my opinions of the game. Remember, I'm the guy it took 10 minutes to find out how to get out of the helicopter. :-[

I have been playing the GRAW demo, which is not that involved. After getting past the disappointment of the graphics, I found it is a much better game than GR1. The AI is much better. The rest of the squad reacts much better to spotting the enemy and providing cover, but the enemy is much more intelligent and is constantly trying to flank you. Your squad doesn't stop in doorways or in the middle of an open area to be shot, like they do in GR1. Occasionally, a man will stand in front of you to take out an enemy position that you are trying to sneak up on. If you deploy you men right, and if you get attack, you can fire towards the enemy position; this will make the enemy take cover, and your squad can move in and take him out. I don't play on-line, so I don't have any idea how this will translate to on-line play. One disappointment is that you can't switch roles from being the squad leader to another member of the squad; or at least I haven't found a way.

Funny, 'bout the only thing I do is on-line. You are correct about AI in GR1 of the standard game.  However, there are mods out there where the AI is taken to level 10 and their body armor is Max.  In a couple of the mods they will hunt you.
