My dad and crew caught 60 lobsters the last 2 days. Anyone ever smoked them?

Wish I could help you out but I'm at a loss not to many lobsters here in the Midwest.  I dont remember seeing anyone talk about smoking them either at the moment

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Pretty much the same as grilling.  For tails, split and add butter.  Smoke hot to desired IT (130-140oF - about 20 minutes).  Rest a few minutes, pop tails out of shell, add more garlic butter and serve.

I don't have one (so this is a pure guess) but this might be a natural match for the A-MAZE-N smoker tube and a covered grill.

If that seems like too much work, ice them down and ship them to me.

Will do Ka Honu. I almost bought one of those a-maze-n smokers for the grill before I bought the Bradley.

I'm with ka hona, ship them to me and I will figure it out for you.  ::)

There are two items that I know of that I will not smoke. One of them is prime rib and the other is lobster.  I'm not messing with perfection.

Ohhh, I'd bet you'd love the Leberli und Rösti in these parts.   ;D

"Catfish Bait" is great - just like "Flounder Bait" (shrimp). ;)

If it's liver, I'll stick with the landjaeger and a good pilsner. :)
