Is the Bradley better than the big green egg?

I think you're comparing apples to oranges. You can't grill anything in the Bradley

That is like asking if an Indy 500 race car is better than a dragster.  Both will get you from point A to point B but have different strenths and weaknesses. 
Like most tools, there is some multi-purpose uses that both the Bradley and the Green Egg will accomplish, there are other uses that one can do the other cannot and vice-versa.

If you want to Cold Smoke, or low temp smoke as in sausages, jerky, beef sticks, or hot smoke in the 225 deg range will little effort, then the Bradley is one of the best tools out there.  The vertical style of the smoker allows the hanging of sausages and sticks that you will not be able to do in circular style smokers.  With 4 or 6 shelves and the ability to double that with inverted racks, you can stack a lot of jerky slices in the vertical advantage as well. 

If you want to grill with high heat don't get a Bradley.  The Bradley will not do 600 plus degrees.
