Late night stick smokin

I wanted to make some sticks yesterday. I didn't get them in the smoker until 4, I thought not a problem 5lbs should be done in time to get a Good night sleep, boy was I wrong.  Sometime between 8 and 9 I lost power to my smoker, I went out and it was dark, when I turned the power back on, the cabinet was at 90 degrees, should have been at 160 by this time.  I knew it was less than an hour, so I fired it back up and  continued on my way, but now they were not done until 130 in the morning, just a little past my bedtime. :)
  I always use my maverick to monitor temps from the house, but I didn't do this and I see what I get for that.  Lesson learned there, always use the maverick. 
I used Greg's spicy stick reciped from the recipe site.  My only change was use beer for the water.
