Got the hickory smoked salt finished for my family gift baskets.

Our friend Greg in PA was nice enough to send me my very own block of Cooper Sharp to play with for Christmas and it arrived today so now I have to add it into my to do list. Can't wait to get some herbs and cook up some bacon to go with this treasure. Thank you so much Greg. ;D

Boy that salt took on some good color. Is that cooper cheese a sharp cheese? I love the Cracker Barrel Cold pack cheese. The sharp bite is so tasty. I love it.
I like to walk threw life on the path of least resistance. But sometimes the path needs a good kick in the ass.

It is a sharp American Style Pasteurized that just can't be beat for flavor but it's not available in Texas. I also just noticed the ingredient list has just a few ingredients and no un-pronounceable ones. :)

Your welcome Robert. I felt bad you ended up making dog treats earlier, now that you have the right cheese you can play mixing in whatever you want.  :)

Here's another shot of the same salt pictured above a week later so you can see how much darker it gets over time when you roll it around in the jar once a day.

He can run some of that jerky through a food processor than add it into the cooper.
Bacon is the Crack Cocaine of the Food World.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

I'm convinced anything added to Cooper works.  ;D

I think you're right, I had store bought beef hot dogs on walmart pretzel sticks for lunch today and added some smoked cooper, mustard and relish and they were the best dogs I've ever had.

If I didn't know better you are doing all this work in my kitchen. I have the same exact stove/oven. While your at it, my dogs like snacks while your cooking.  ;D ;D ;D
