new cake baker in Johns Creek, GA

Just thought I would introduce myself.  I have a new digital smoker, model BTDS76P.  Works like a charm.  Love to smoke ribs, pork.  Chicken blows---too smokey.  Can't wait to do a brisket.  Can't do sausage---too complicated for me.  I think I would screw it up also---constantly peeking.  Plus my digital smoker doesn't ramp up real quick on the temperature. So, you may have heard, I am trying to make some  modifications to mine.  Got any tips?

Also, love to bake so I hope to use my smoker to bake cakes. 

Currently live in Georgia but previously lived in No. Virginia and Ottawa, Canada.  Ottawa one of the nicest places you'll ever visit or live.  Obviously, very cold though during certain times of the year.

Anyway, I am off to hopefully start a poll.
