Smokesmore

Just wanted to stop in and say hi.  Just got a BDS 4 rack and I'm trying to get used to smoking on a little electric smoker with much more control. Smoked my first couple racks of ribs yesterday and they came out a little dry using the 3-1-1 method.  Definitely a recipe that can be tweaked to your own liking but nonetheless a good start.  Looking forward to working with and learning from you all in the future.

Welcome!  I did my first rib smoke this past weekend, and I set the temperature at 220, smoked for 3 hours, foiled with apple juice for 2 hours, and sauced and cooked for another hour and 20 minutes or so.  They were very good.  Once you find a technique that works for you, you will love it.  Most of all............try different things, and have FUN!
