Venison chops

Yes, I have some venison chops. I'm wondering if I should smoke them or just pan fry like usual. Has anyone had a successful recipes for smoking something like a venison chop.

When I do venison chops I just put Lawrey's and garlic powder on them then grill them until pink in the middle. Brother-in-law says it is they best venison he has ever had.
