Maple Cured Bacon

Belly cut up into three pieces, 7 days in the fridge to cure, rinsed off  and on racks to air dry



Smoked with maple for two hours, then left in till IT reached 150 degrees



All sliced up and  ready for vac-packing






Time to go make a BLT.... Thanks for looking....

While that looks great...this thread is a major league tease.  Where's the pic of that beautifully fried bacon sitting next to a fluffy mound of scrambled eggs and toast that's got pads of butter still melting on it?

Wow that's some beautiful pork belly.  I'm going to need to find a better source for mine, they never look that good.  :)
